How To Reach Algeciras
Algeciras cannot be reached directly by flight, though it is well connected by buses and trains. The organization will do its best to provide a shuttle bus from the main arrival point of participants. You may contact secretariat@fundacionmigres.org to communicate your arrival and plan a possible transportation to the hotel.
FLIGHTS
Algeciras nearest airport is GIBRALTAR, located about 20 km from the town centre.
British Airways operates scheduled flights on a daily basis to/from London Heathrow and Gatwick.

Gibraltar airport is located about 2 km from the town centre adjacent to the frontier with Spain. There is a regular bus service to the town and taxis are available. Buses link La Línea ( 2 km away, at Gibraltar's frontiers with Spain) with Algeciras, taking just half an hour.
Jerez de la Frontera airport is about 100 km away. Car renta l is recommended
as no public transportation links Jerez with Algeciras.
Malaga airport is 130 km away. Cheap flights connect Malaga with many European and Spanish cities. Buses are available to Algeciras (Portillo Bus Company: Tel 956 654 304).
Sevilla airport is about 200 km far from Algeciras . Buses connect both cities (see below).
