A Scientific Committee has been formed and an agenda for the conference, the specific symposia and keynote speakers are currently being confirmed. 

Some of the proposed aspects to be discussed include (titles must be considered as preliminary):

 Bird Migration in a Changing World: Patterns and Principles.
 Genetics and Evolutionary responses of migrating birds to climate change.
 Regulation of population size of migratory birds in a changing environment.
 Biogeographic influence and ecological consequences of climate change on migrating birds species around the globe.
 Global change and long-distance migratory birds: carry-over effects and seasonal interactions.
 Movement ecology: models and patterns of organism movements.
 Animal Tracking and Physiological Monitoring: methodological tools for understanding effects of global change.


The official language of the Conference will be English. It is not intended to publish the Proceedings.
